Attack against authority

The crime of assaulting an authority figure is regulated in Article 550 of the Penal Code, which punishes individuals who assault, or with serious intimidation or violence, seriously resist or attack an authority figure, its agents, or public officials, when they are carrying out their official duties or in connection with them . These acts are punishable by imprisonment for 1 to 4 years and a fine of 3 to 6 months if the assault is against an authority figure, or imprisonment for 6 months to 3 years in other cases.
